Richard Kalas began work in the Czech Republic, with custom projects for private homes, public buildings, and restoration of many pieces, some over two hundred years old. Richard then moved to the U.S. and works applying ancient techniques to contemporary style. Richard has several works of art in the Algodones Gallery that he designed and fabricated utilizing a wide variety of hammered textures in both modern and traditional styles.
